We love making lager and people love drinking it. This is matly, yet crisp, with a nice clean finish and fresh aroma. Aiming for a more pilsner style, this lager has a hop character delivered to the drinker by noble Saaz and Mittelfrueh hops

Stouts can be tricky beers to get right. It needs to be black like oil, and roasty in flavour, but not so much it tastes like burnt coffee beans. It needs to feel rich and luxurious in your mouth and this guides our philsophy behind this beer. Using dehusked black malt to get the intensity of black required gives us room to use a good % of chocolate malt to bring in the flavour. Oats and a high mash temp fill out the body, and the abv gives it a good oomph.

This is a beer we make for the summer, with demand for it kicking in in late April. It's a faily standard pilsner malt and wheat grain bill but we add a % of light caramalt to give the beer some more body and a slight orange hue. Classic hefeweizen yeast with a ferulic rest and controlled fermentation temperature to emphasise the clove phenolics

It does what it says on the tin. Malty, strong, low bitterness. A beer that hits the right notes for people who want those notes hitting.

The name of the river outside our pub is "Liang Ma" meaning "bright horse" having evolved from "drying the horse in the sun" with dry and bright having the same sound in Chinese (but no the same characters). This beer is bright in colour using 100% base malt with no caramalts added, providing a base for the hops to sing, and bringing their melody to this beer we have Centennial, Amarillo and Strata, with hopping through the beer based on a classic west coast IPA schedule.
